1) During his tenure on the City Council, King Parker protected Black River Riparian Park which saved many acres of heron habitat. As mayor, King Parker will continue to look for opportunities to preserve our open spaces.

2) King Parker worked to ensure that 1% of Renton’s city budget goes to protect our most vulnerable citizens. As mayor, King Parker will continue this commitment to human services.

3) As a leader on the City Council, King Parker supported the development and enhancement of the city’s Neighborhood Program. As mayor, King Parker will continue this commitment.

4) As a local business leader for 25 years, King Parker knows that the customer comes first. As mayor, King Parker will bring that same level of attention to customer service to the City of Renton.

5) King Parker is known for his attention to the bottom line. As mayor, King Parker will move Renton forward without raising taxes.
