Dear Friends,
Thank you for all your support during my campaign. As the election winds down and we journey closer to November 4th it is important that we rally our support around the candidate who will best serve our community. That candidate is King Parker. King’s life, business, and government experience make him the most qualified to serve Renton.
Renton’s growth in the past eight years has been phenomenal. We have built a strong economic base, attracted new homes and new families, and enhanced our thriving community. This is due in part to the partnership King and I share on City Council.
In eight years we have:
Increased revenue growth by lowering property tax and implementing successful economic development policies
Renewed the Downtown Core with the Piazza Park, Pavilion renovation, and Veteran’s Memorial Park
Constructed the Aquatic Center to replace Henry Moses Pool
King’s experience does not end at City Hall. He has been actively involved in the community for 36 years. Along with City Council, King Vice-Chair’s Renton’s Community Service Committee, belongs to Renton Rotary, and has been PTA President.
King is currently:
Chair of the Finance Committee
Co-Founder of Renton’s Blue Ribbon Committee
Member of the Chamber of Commerce
King is a proven leader. He can make tough decisions and knows how to work with others to reach common goals.
I look forward to working with King in the future. With his leadership we can continue to build upon our accomplishments of the last decade. For this reason I am voting for King Parker for Mayor on November 4. I strongly urge you to do the same.
